We were honored to welcome School Board Member Ms. Rachna Sizemore Heizer, District Director Ms. Stephanie Sedwick, and Region 5 leaders Ms. Baenig and Mr. Stokes to Eagle View. They spent the morning in our early childhood and CSS classrooms, seeing our students shine and experiencing the powerful inclusion that makes Eagle View so special.

Principal's Message

Dear Eagle View Families,

Last week was filled with so much joy here at Eagle View! We were honored to welcome several special visitors—the Braddock District member on the Fairfax County School Board, Ms. Rachna Sizemore Heizer, District Director Ms. Stephanie Sedwick, and our Region 5 leaders, Ms. Baenig (Assistant Superintendent) and Mr.  Stokes (Executive Principal). They visited a few of the upper-grade classrooms, our early childhood and CSS classrooms, and witnessed the powerful inclusion happening every day. We were proud to show how we live out our vision: Everyone belongs and loves to learn.

On Thursday, our 4th–6th grade students had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Matilda Musical Matinee performed by the Fairfax High School FX Players. Many students shared how much they enjoyed the show by our older peers in the pyramid. A huge thank-you to Fairfax High School for hosting this unforgettable experience—we are truly #foreverfairfax!

While students from multiple schools attended, I was thrilled to hear that Eagle View students stood out as the best-behaved and most respectful group. It was a proud principal moment, and I want to thank you for partnering with us to help our students develop strong character.

As we look ahead, we are excited to welcome our families for the Thanksgiving Luncheon tomorrow and Tuesday. Each family will receive a diamond to write what they are thankful for—a special project led by our Altruismo House, the House of Givers. These will become part of our EV Thankful Wall, created by our students, staff, and families together.

On Tuesday, in honor of our Altruismo House (whose color is black), we invite students to wear black. Families attending Tuesday’s luncheon are welcome to join in the spirit as well!

Thank you for your continued partnership and for being part of our Eagle View community. We are grateful for you!

SIncerely,

KJ An

Principal
