 A Message from Ms. Kirkland
I want to extend my deepest thanks to all of our families and volunteers who helped make our Thanksgiving Luncheon such a special event. This was our first luncheon since 2019, and it was truly heartwarming to welcome nearly 175 visitors back into our building to share a meal, connect with one another, and celebrate as a community.
Your presence, support, and enthusiasm made the day memorable for our students and staff alike. Events like this remind us how fortunate we are to be part of such a caring and engaged school community.
As we head into the holiday break, I wish each of you a warm, restful, and joy-filled Thanksgiving. May your time with loved ones be meaningful and refreshing.

Full-Time Advanced Academics Referrals (Grades 2-6)
For parents of students in grades 2–6 interested in referring their child for full-time AAP services.
If you feel that your child has exceptional strengths in all four content areas including language arts, math, social studies, and science please submit the following documents to AART Jacqui Greene (jcgreene@fcps.edu) on or before December 15, 2025. Late submissions cannot be accepted.

PTO Events
At Mount Eagle, every parent is a member of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). It's a great way to connect with other parents, learn about how to support your child, and have fun! There are many ways you can share your voice, talents, and time. Check out the PTO Website for more information. It's available in multiple languages.
