Today's starting lineup
The straits? Oh, they were dire. Very dire. With less than a quarter remaining, the Texans trailed the Jaguars by 19 points and their offense looked lifeless. But a football game is 60 minutes, and the Texans kept playing until the literal end, scoring the game's final 26 points to stun Jacksonville and keep Houston's playoff hopes alive.
Jonathan M. Alexander takes us inside the Texans' unlikely comeback. Davis Mills, who hadn't started and won a game in nearly three years, never lost confidence. The defense? Those guys made the comeback possible with a dominant fourth quarter. DeMeco Ryans coached with a heavy heart after the death of best friend and former teammate Earl Cochran. We also have our weekly Texans report card and look at the biggest comebacks in franchise history.
