Jim Cooper AI is making humans smarter about AI. And based on our coverage of it this week, and there was a lot, it’s also making humans a lot calmer and clear eyed about it too. For example, two years ago, at the dawn of AI’s ascent, British publisher Immediate Media surveyed its staffers to find that more than half were anxious about what the tech might mean for their work. That number has since fallen to just 5 percent. Agents are incredibly useful tools, but just that, tools to be used by people. Speaking at The IAB Tech Lab’s International Summit in London on Wednesday this week, People Inc.’s chief innovation officer Jon Roberts said, “The best AI has the best inputs and generates the best outputs. This is the inverse of garbage in, garbage out.” Those best inputs remain the domain of human innovation and craft. Breathe a bit easier. Read our most important AI coverage here each Friday ICYMI.
