Hey dupa,

Here's something I've learned over the years:

You should care more about your character than your reputation.

It's easy to get caught up in how others see us, especially when we want to make a good impression.

But if you’re constantly trying to manage other people's opinions, it shows.

It might work for a little while, but eventually, people will catch on.

They’ll see the inconsistencies in your words or actions, and when they do, trust starts to slip away.

Take Joe Rogan, for example.

Early in his podcast career, Joe didn’t play the reputation game.

He spoke his truth, even when it upset his guests.

And that authenticity made his conversations real. Dynamic. Interesting.

Now recently some have felt that "realness" fading (which I believe is contributing to the decrease in his podcast reach)

But the point remains….

People flock to those they can trust to speak their truth.

So, I want to challenge you: Focus on your character.

Be true to who you are.

Stop worrying about how others see you.

Because the truth is, when you start living authentically, your reputation will follow.

When you stop caring about looking good, that’s when you become magnetic.

That’s when you start building relationships that matter. And your confidence soars.

Talk soon,
Charlie
