Nova Scotia MP Chris d’Entremont has resigned from the Conservative caucus and the party and joined the governing Liberals.

Mr. d’Entremont informed Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre he was leaving in a letter on Tuesday, according to a copy of the letter seen by The Globe and Mail.

After the tabling of Prime Minister Mark Carney’s first budget, he announced he was joining their party.
