New this month
API Keys, Stripe Billing Seat Sync, AI Branding Assistant, & more

API Keys
WorkOS now makes it simple to secure APIs with API Keys. Developers can provide end users a complete API key management experience without building custom UI or backend code using the new API Keys Widget. A new API endpoint lets developers validate keys in requests and associate them with WorkOS organizations and permissions. The endpoint is available in both the workos-node and authkit-nextjs SDKs.

Stripe Billing Seat Sync
Automate seat-based billing with zero code using Stripe Billing Seat Sync to push active organization member counts to Stripe. Once connected, WorkOS sends meter events for active memberships that you can use in Stripe Products to bill customers based on seat usage.

AI Branding Assistant
The branding editor now includes an AI assistant to help tailor the appearance of your app. In addition to applying configuration changes, it can generate split-panel content and custom CSS to match your app's branding. Changes are summarized in chat and easy to revert.

WorkOS Vault adds Azure support for Bring Your Own Key
WorkOS Vault now supports Azure Key Vault for Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) encryption. Enterprise IT admins can connect their Azure Key Vault instance and use their own customer-managed keys to wrap Vault data keys. This enables auditing usage of keys and disabling access via key revocation. Setup is self-serve through the Admin Portal to ensure easy onboarding.

Mailgun support for custom email providers
AuthKit now supports Mailgun as a custom email provider. Send authentication emails like account invitation, email verification, and password reset through your existing Mailgun account for full visibility and control over deliverability.
