Today, Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau spoke with Argentine Minister of Foreign Affairs Pablo Quirno to congratulate him on his new role and reaffirm the United States’ strong partnership with Argentina. The Deputy Secretary commended Argentina’s strategic leadership in our hemisphere.  He also expressed U.S. support for President Milei’s historic reforms, following the October 26 midterm elections that will promote economic stability and prosperity for the Argentine people.  Deputy Secretary Landau and Foreign Minister Quirno also discussed ongoing efforts to deepen bilateral cooperation on economic growth and other shared priorities.
