Reality TV’s First Family Looks Back |
On a recent episode of The Kardashians, a newly rejuvenated Kris Jenner seems keen to give up the ghost of her family’s headline-making past. She gets the family together at Eldorado Meadow, their property in Hidden Hills, Los Angeles, where most of the E! reality show that made them a household name, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, was filmed. Recession indicator? Maybe. Nostalgic for a time when the family filmed under one roof? Definitely. The family convenes under the pretense of bidding farewell to the house with “one last supper.” Savannah Walsh takes us through the Kardashian family’s rumination over the years that led to them becoming reality TV trailblazers and royalty.
