Ontario Premier Doug Ford has displayed a complete lack of judgment in inviting disgruntled Quebec doctors to move to Ontario and take up jobs there, a furious Quebec Premier François Legault says.
To make sure the message reaches Ford’s ears, Legault delivered the rebuttal in both French and English. Officials said later that the two premiers, who have projected an image in the past of being close friends — using each other’s first names at events — had not spoken directly since Ford’s comments.
