A month after Montreal implemented a partial ban on short-term rentals in the city, hundreds of owners appear to be flouting the bylaw, keeping their units available for tourists to rent.
As of Monday, data collected by À bas Airbnb— a project documenting the impact of Airbnbs across Quebec — included at least 526 “illegal” listings contravening the new regulation, reports The Gazette's Jack Wilson.
