We’re back with another edition of Where We’re Eating!

Central Market’s sandwiches have achieved something of a cult following — and our critic Bao Ong stood in line to find out if they live up to the hype.

We’re also sharing a few other sandwiches we love around Houston — perfect for your next lunch craving.

A quick note: the next two weeks’ newsletters will be written by my colleague, Aviva Bechky, while I take some time off after my wedding this weekend.

Tony’s Italian Deli serves the Stallone sandwich with capicola, salami, ham, soppressata and Provolone.

#1 - Tony's Italian Delicatessen

Why we love it: Ingredients are well-balanced; best Italian subs in the metro area.

What to order: The Stallone combo: Capicola, salami, ham, sopressata, Provolone with marinated tomatoes, red onions, basil pesto, and a distinctive balsamic sub oil.

Location: Tomball/The Woodlands
