Hello Readers,Indiaâs largest airline IndiGo is betting big on Airbusâ A350-900 widebody aircraft for its long-haul international operations. The airline,
last Friday, entered into a definitive agreement with Airbus for confirming purchase of 30 more additional A350 aircraft, taking the total tally to 60 for such planes.
The deliveries of the aircraft, which are expected to commence from 2027 onwards, will mark the onset of a focused international operations for IndiGo. Its competitor Air India already deploys a select few of such aircraft for international as well as domestic flights.
The airlineâs Airbus A321XLR is also set to debut in January. The two aircraft, A350 and A321XLR, will mark a new phase in IndiGoâs international expansion.
