With summer vacations ending for many of us and school starting the fall term, that means that we are entering conference season. Between now and the end of the year, we have SAP TechEd in Berlin and virtual, several SAP TechEd on Tour events around the world, and two SAP Fiori Innovation Days. While you can expect most of the big product announcements to happen at the larger events, we still have some innovations that you can read about below. Have you experimented with MCP servers yet? SAP Fiori tools update – First release of the Fiori MCP Server for Agentic AI workflows

The new Fiori MCP Server offers a new capability that lets Agentic AI tools directly create and edit SAP Fiori applications. Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that standardizes how applications provide context to large language models. With SAPUI5 1.138, the SAP Fiori elements OData V4 “Field Help” documentation has undergone a complete revamp! It’s essentially the same contents but with a much better restructuring of the key topics. The flow of topics is a lot more natural and in sync with the way the field help shows up in the UI – resulting in a far better readability of the topic. Learn more.
