Next up in my series is Sarah Akinterinwa. Sarah was born in Britian, and started her career during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown by creating the comic with two characters, Oyin and Kojo, for her Instagram. Her work explores dating, relationships, identity, politics, and navigating adult life as a young woman of color. Her cartoons featuring this couple began being published in The New Yorker in 2020.
