Fresh off an Oscar-nominated performance as Bob Dylan in “A Complete Unknown,” Chalamet is stepping into the shoes of a different kind of legend.

Chalamet and A24 shared the trailer for his upcoming movie, “Marty Supreme,” on Wednesday, giving fans a glimpse of Chalamet as table tennis player Marty Mauser. The trailer shows him trying to make his table tennis dreams a reality, even while most people don’t respect them.

Trump announces Strait, Stallone, KISS for Kennedy Center Honors and says he'll host the awards show

President Donald Trump on Wednesday named country music star George Strait, “Rocky” actor Sylvester Stallone and singer Gloria Gaynor among the first batch of Kennedy Center Honors nominees under his leadership as the center’s chairman. He also said he will host the awards program.

The remaining two honorees are the rock band KISS and actor-singer Michael Crawford.

Asked how involved he was in the nomination process, Trump told reporters he was “98%” involved in the selection process, adding that he “turned down plenty. They were too woke.”

Taylor Swift’s latest era is almost upon us. The superstar isn’t just releasing new music — she’s appearing Wednesday on “New Heights” for the first time.

Part of the rollout for Tuesday’s announcement of “The Life of a Showgirl” involved the popular, typically football-focused podcast hosted by Travis Kelce — Swift’s boyfriend and Kansas City Chiefs tight end — and his brother, Jason Kelce, the former Philadelphia Eagles center.

The show teased “a special episode with a VERY special guest” on social media Monday, sharing an orange background and a mysterious silhouette that many believed to be Swift. It turned out to be true, the show’s social media accounts confirmed later, at the same time Swift announced her 12th studio album.

Venus Williams gets new Barbie honoring her push for equal pay in tennis

Venus Williams is being honored with another Barbie, this one as part of the dollmaker’s Inspiring Women collection.

The doll will be available Friday, Aug. 15 at the Mattel Shop and retails for $38.

Williams’ doll celebrates the tennis great and pay equity champion by wearing the uniform she donned while winning Wimbledon in 2007. That Grand Slam tournament win was the first time a woman received equal prize money as the men, something she advocated for.

Fans of Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’s lifestyle series, “With Love, Meghan,” now have a fresh glimpse of the show’s second season.

Netflix has dropped a brand–new trailer for the second season, which will debut Aug. 26. The teaser shows the former Meghan Markle back in the kitchen and garden to host a lineup of celebrity chefs and more as they explore “easy ways to show up lovingly.”
