New Band Director
We are pleased to announce that Zach Wadsworth has been selected as the next Band Director for Annandale High School.
Mr. Wadsworth brings over a decade of experience leading dynamic, inclusive band programs and building strong relationships with students, families, and the community. Most recently, he served as Director of Bands at Kettle Run High School, where he doubled student enrollment, launched the school’s first marching competition, and helped the program earn both the “Program of Honor” distinction and the VMEA “Blue Ribbon Award.”
Previously, Mr. Wadsworth was Director of Bands at Riverbend High School, where he expanded the program and led the school to its first designation as a Virginia Honor Band. He holds a Master of Music in Instrumental Conducting from the University of South Florida and has extensive experience in conducting, arranging, and cross-disciplinary collaboration in the performing arts.
Please join me in welcoming Mr. Zach Wadsworth to the Annandale community.
