The Commerce Department Announces 2025 Gulf Council Appointments

The Secretary of Commerce recently announced the appointment of three new Gulf Council members. Appointees will begin their three-year terms on August 11, 2025. Welcome Brenda Ballard, Johnny Marquez, and Dr. Micheal Allen. 

Gulf Council Convenes Several Advisory Panels and Public Comment Session

The Gulf Council (Council) will host a series of virtual Advisory Panel (AP) meetings and a Public Comment Session to discuss Executive Order 14276 “Restoring American Seafood Competitiveness” and Executive Order 14192 “Unleashing Prosperity through Deregulation”
