As the country prepares to celebrate the Fourth of July, here are six simple guidelines to help keep workers who sell fireworks to the public safe.

Mientras el país se prepara para celebrar el 4 de julio, aquí hay seis consejos sencillos para ayudar a mantener a los trabajadores que venden fuegos artificiales al público seguros.

Fireworks Safety – Retail Sales 1) Keep exits clear and accessible; know all exit routes. 2) Know alarm procedure and fire extinguisher location/operation. 3) Maintain view of fireworks; remove damaged fireworks and loose pyrotechnic powder promptly. 4) Use non-sparking tools; do not use vacuum cleaners. 5) No smoking or vaping within 50 feet of sales area. 6) Keep facilities secure. osha.gov/pyrotechnics
