Uber-Wayve pilot: Uber and British self-driving technology startup Wayve plan to run their first trial of fully autonomous vehicles in London, paving the way for the two companies to launch commercial robotaxi services in the UK and beyond. Snap’s Specs: After years of working on smart glasses, Snap plans to release its first augmented-reality eyewear for consumers in 2026. That timeline puts Snap ahead of rival Meta, which has been targeting a 2027 launch for its own AR glasses.
