Get ready, on September 18–20, we’re bringing The Atlantic’s journalism to life onstage in New York City, the cultural capital of the world, for the 17th annual Atlantic Festival. Join Atlantic journalists for three days of unfiltered conversations with the boldest thinkers shaping our world, plus exclusive screenings, book talks, and live performances you won’t find anywhere else.

May 20: Senior editor Jeremy Gordon will discuss his debut novel, See Friendship, at Table of Contents in Brooklyn, New York.

May 23: Senior editor Honor Jones will celebrate the release of her debut novel, Sleep, with staff writer Clint Smith at Politics and Prose in Washington, D.C.

May 27: Staff writer David A. Graham will be in conversation with editor in chief Jeffrey Goldberg about David’s new book, The Project, at Politics and Prose.

May 30: Staff writer Zoë Schlanger will talk about her book, The Light Eaters, with fellow staff writer Ross Andersen at Politics and Prose.

WBUR Festival, May 29–31 in Boston*

Join our friends at WBUR as they celebrate 75 years of journalist excellence at the WBUR Festival on Boston University’s campus. The Atlantic is a media partner for the inaugural festival. Editor in chief Jeffrey Goldberg will open the festival on Friday morning with Kara Swisher. Staff writer James Parker will discuss his work with homeless writers in a session with Dr. Jim O’Connell, the president of the Boston Health Care for Homeless program.

DC/DOX Film Festival, June 12–15 in Washington, D.C.*

This year marks the third annual international film festival DC/Dox in Washington, D.C. A number of Atlantic journalists will moderate panels at the festival, which will feature 94 films highlighting the remarkable breadth and artistry of documentary storytelling today.
