It is always, always worth reading Glen Weldon on the glories of Eurovision. This year, he's got a rundown of the ten best songs, and how likely they are to win.
I caught up with the thriller Companion this week (it's streaming on the once and future HBO Max, currently known as Max). It's horror, sure, in that it has some violent moments. But really, it's a thriller about a woman who learns that she's been the subject of extensive manipulation and gaslighting by a self-described nice-guy partner. Leads Sophie Thatcher and Jack Quaid are both excellent (she's sharp and sympathetic; he's an utter dirtbag who thinks the world is unreasonably hard on him), and it's well worth your time. |
