End of Year Summer Sail-Off!!
If you have questions reach out to our PTO!
Class Placement for Next Year
As the end of the school year approaches, one of our important tasks is to determine class placements for the following year. The school staff works collaboratively to plan teacher and student assignments, and we would like to have your input. Please select five characteristics you would like to see in your child’s teacher. Keep in mind that placement decisions are made with your child's strengths in mind. We strive to create classes that are as balanced as possible considering what we know about the students we serve. Use this link to access the Google form to record your responses. We ask that you honor the deadline of Friday, May 26, 2025.
EOY Class Parties
Parent Volunteers
Teachers may have up to four parent volunteers to support outdoor (weather permitting) parties. Parents may stay for the duration of the party if they choose.
- Parent volunteers must sign in with a valid driver's license or passport.
- Parent volunteers must secure child care for non-Silverbrook siblings.
- Students will return to instruction after the party.
- Parents should sign out as they leave the party.
Food
The EOY party is our second designated time to have food for students.
- Students must be offered school lunch.
-
- Notification of the types of allergies in the room will be taken into consideration when planning the party menu.
Games
- All students must have the opportunity to participate in all games.
- Games should be age and strength-appropriate.
- All games should be monitored for student safety.
Staff and Family Fun
A few of our staff members take an evening to enjoy each other’s company at a Nat’s game.
