The Cappies, formally known as the Critics and Awards Program, is a program through which high school theater and journalism students are trained as critics, attend shows at other schools, write reviews, and publish those reviews in area newspapers. At the end of the year, the student critics vote for awards that are presented at a formal Cappies Gala. See the full list of 2025 nominees on the National Capital Area Cappies website.
We are immensely proud of our talented students and the entire Spartan Theatre program. Congratulations on this outstanding accomplishment!
