3: Seniors Dismissed @ 10:30 a.m.

5: Early Release @ 11:15 a.m.

9: Laptop Collection & Dismissal @10:30 / Graduation, Eagle Bank Arena, 7 p.m. (students arrive 5:30 p.m.)

10: Early Release @11:15 a.m.

11: Last Day of School (Early Release @ 10:10 a.m.)

Calendar Reminder

On Monday May 19th and Tuesday May 20th there will be a slight adjustment to the schedule. The first and last period of the day will be swapped. See below for the schedule each day:

Monday May 19th 2025 (Blue Day)

8th period-8:10 - 9:40

4th period-9:47 - 11:15

6th period-11:22 - 1:20

2nd period-1:27 - 2:55

Tuesday May 20th 2025 (Orange Day)

7th period-8:10 - 9:40

3rd period-9:47 - 11:15

5th period-11:22 - 1:20

1st period-1:27 - 2:55

There are no changes to the academy or lunch schedules. Academy classes and all lunches will proceed as regularly scheduled.

We are thrilled to announce that the West Springfield High School theatre program has received an incredible seven nominations for the prestigious Cappies awards! This is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and extraordinary talent of our Spartan Theatre students and staff. Our fall play, Puffs: Or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic, has been recognized for its excellence in various categories, including the coveted Best Play nomination.

The Cappies, formally known as the Critics and Awards Program, is a program through which high school theater and journalism students are trained as critics, attend shows at other schools, write reviews, and publish those reviews in area newspapers. At the end of the year, the student critics vote for awards that are presented at a formal Cappies Gala. See the full list of 2025 nominees on the National Capital Area Cappies website.
