As the short-term noise in the financial markets grows louder, it’s a good time to focus on the big picture.

With fears of rising inflation and an economic slowdown keeping investors nervous, Bloomberg asked market experts where investors could seek long-term gains with a $100,000 stake.

Answers ranged from tech stocks to high-quality fixed income to private equity stocks. And if that $100,000 had to go to something fun? Santa Fe, New Mexico, or civil war battlefields via a deluxe Winnebago beckoned. Experiencing a New Zealand sunrise and speeding down the German autobahn in a Porsche also got the nod.
