We have updated the Nintendo Account Agreement and the Nintendo Account Privacy Policy, following the addition of new Nintendo products and services. The updated documents will supersede all previous versions and apply to all existing and new Nintendo Account users, including any supervised Nintendo Account users, from 07/05/2025.

Summary of changes to the Nintendo Account Agreement
|
|
- Sections 1 (Definitions) and 2 (Nintendo Account) now include additional Nintendo products and services where a Nintendo Account is required;
- Section 4 (User-Generated Content) now provides information on how Nintendo monitors reported communication content to provide a safe and family-friendly environment;
- Contact information in sections 15 and 17 as well as section B is updated; and
- Section 16 (Use of Digital Products on Apple’s Devices) is amended to align with Apple Media Services Terms.

Summary of changes to the Nintendo Account Privacy Policy
|
|
- Section 2 (What Information we Collect and Process) is updated to inform you about the additional data that Nintendo may collect and process when you use certain new Nintendo Account Services. For example, Nintendo may collect your phone number and monitor reported audio and video recordings of your chat sessions with other users to provide a safe and family-friendly environment for GameChat; and
- Section 3 (How Information Is Used – Purposes of Processing) is amended to provide information on how and why Nintendo processes your data when you use certain Nintendo Account Services such as GameChat or System Transfer.
