Who’s better at detecting SEO errors: AI or humans?

As always in SEO, the answer is: “It depends.”

We challenged AI and a group of humans to audit the same websites to identify problem areas.

Here are the results:

AI clearly won in terms of the number of errors detected.

But the humans found more complex SEO issues than AI, including 9 errors that AI missed completely.

My advice?

Use both humans and AI tools for your website audits. This is what we do at my agency NP Digital, and it’s helped us drive great results for our clients.
