MongoDB Job Step Plugin

The new MongoDB job step plugin enables teams to run arbitrary queries against their MongoDB databases within their Runbook Automation workflows. Teams can now automate diagnostics, validate data integrity and perform operational checks through secure, self-service interfaces without manual intervention. The plugin eliminates database access bottlenecks while bringing MongoDB operations into your existing automation ecosystem, so teams can focus on strategic initiatives, rather than routine database management.

JSON and Table for SQL Query Plugin

The SQL Query job plugin is commonly used to automate tasks or provide a self-service mechanism for interfacing with SQL databases – such as MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle etc. This has now been enhanced to make working with database results much easier. While previously query results were only displayed as plain text, users can now choose to view them in JSON and CSV. This allows for the output to be viewable as an HTML table in the interface. This enhancement both provides an improved visual experience of retrieving database data but also reduces the steps to use that data in subsequent workflow steps.
