Principals' Update

Dear Freedom Hill Families,

We hope you are well! We have a few important updates for you today:

What a fabulous staff volleyball game against Westgate! We were so thankful to see so many students and families cheering in the crowd! Thank you for joining us for this fundraiser for our students. A big thank you to our staff members who competed, our team captain Mr. Dowling, and all of our PTA volunteers, especially Rachel Shabica, whose organization helped the event go so smoothly.

Also last week, our staff celebrated our incredible office team on Administrative Professionals Day. We're so lucky to be a school where all visitors are welcomed like family. A big thank you to Mrs. Harris, Mrs. Cadena-Gonce, Ms. Sujo, Ms. Munoz, Ms. Riera, and office volunteer Emma Gonce for your incredible support of our community.

Please remember that tomorrow will be an early release day at 1:05. Students will be dismissed according to the plans we have on file. If you need to make any changes to how your child will be getting home, please ensure that both their teacher and the office are informed. Additionally, families may visit between 1:15-4:15 for the second day of our Clothing Swap pickup. Come grab some new outfits!

As we look ahead to this week, we want to remind families that SOLs will be starting for students in 3rd-6th grade. Please ensure that your child arrives to school on time, gets plenty of rest, and eats a healthy breakfast to fuel their minds for testing. We have full confidence in our students and know that they will do their best!
