Check out this week’s YOUseum! During the month of April, we celebrate Autism Awareness. Autism is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects how individuals experience the world and interact with others. It’s characterized by differences in social communication, special interests, and sometimes sensory sensitivities. We want to recognize the unique strengths and abilities of autistic individuals and bring attention to our autism community here at Powell. We have 3 Enhanced Autism Classrooms and 4 Preschool Autism Classes here and these students bring so much life and love to our school!
