Inside White Lotus’ $175,000-Per-Week Yacht While most White Lotus viewers wanderlust after the hotels on the hit HBO show, there are also a few enviable yachts to consider. In the third season, guests spent an unforgettable night aboard a 177-foot luxury catamaran near Ya Nui Beach in Phuket and the Mu Ko Ang Thong National Marine Park in Koh Samui. SpaceCat, the 117-foot-long Northrop & Johnson yacht that made a cameo this season, can actually be chartered in Thailand for $175,000 a week. The boat has three decks, four staterooms and features an 18-foot pool, a beach club and several toys and tenders. Whether you bring a sibling is entirely up to you. |

Lisa Vanderpump Is Opening a Las Vegas Hotel Lisa Vanderpump’s hospitality empire continues to expand. The onetime real housewife of Beverly Hills parlayed her reality TV success into a spinoff show, Vanderpump Rules, while building a robust portfolio of restaurants, clubs and bars around the United States and the U.K. This year, she is adding her first hotel to the mix. Continuing her partnership with Caesars Entertainment, Vanderpump—who already has several bars on the Las Vegas Strip—will begin renovating and rebranding the Cromwell hotel (across from Caesars Palace) and transform it into the cleverly named Vanderpump Hotel. |

A Guide to a New Tour of Jane Austen’s England When it came to travel, Jane Austen showed good sense—but clearly had a conflicted sensibility. In her posthumously published novel, Northanger Abbey, she advised: “If adventures will not befall a young lady in her own village, she must seek them abroad.” But a few years earlier in Emma, Austen argued, “There is nothing like staying at home, for real comfort.” This year, Austen-philes can actually combine those philosophies and make a literary pilgrimage to her estate in Hampshire, England as part of the author’s 250th birthday celebration. Travel company Active England recently announced the Jane Austen 250th Anniversary Walking Tour, a six-day, five-night trip that follows in Austen’s footsteps, retracing the landscapes, towns and quiet countryside from her classic novels. |

Nujuma Named Best New Resort Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton private island resort off the western coast of Saudi Arabia, first welcomed guests last May and was recently awarded Best Opening of 2024 by Forbes Travel Guide. Set amid the world’s fourth-largest barrier reef in the Red Sea, this all-villa hotel feels secluded, but it’s not far from Riyadh (a 1.5-hour flight) and Jeddah (about an hour-long flight). The resort features 63 spherical villas that resemble seashells, has four restaurants, a spa and a dive center. Best of all, each villa comes with a dedicated host who can curate personal experiences for each guest. Or, you know, make a dinner reservation. |
