As the AI narrative that’s powered the US market comes under scrutiny, some unloved — and potentially less volatile — market sectors are getting more attention.

Not all of the wealth advisers quizzed by Bloomberg for the latest Where to Invest $100,000 story are concerned about high valuations for AI and mega-cap tech stocks. But more focus is going to areas that have lagged, including international markets, small- and mid-cap stocks, Treasuries and private credit. 

If the experts had $100,000 to spend on something fun, splurges included a family trip to Egypt, a home on the Athens Riviera in Greece, a purchase of recreational land — and some cheeky sculptures.
