We’re sharing this update because global supply shortages are affecting oil pricing and availability across the automotive industry. You deserve to know more about what's happening, how it may affect your next oil change, and what we’re doing to help.
Above all, our priority is to ensure you have access to high-quality oil that meets the requirements of your vehicle.
WHAT’S CHANGING
The lubricant industry has been experiencing significant shortages of Group III base oil, a key ingredient used in many full-synthetic motor oils. These shortages, along with production disruptions and increased transportation costs, are putting pressure on oil supply and pricing across the industry.
As a result, certain brands, oil formulations, or viscosities may become temporarily unavailable, and you may see price increases on some products in the coming months.
WHAT WE’RE DOING
We recognized these challenges earlier this year and brought together a dedicated team to get ahead of potential disruptions. Since then, working closely with our suppliers and internal teams, we have:
Increased our oil inventory to help protect against supply interruptions.
Expanded our selection of oils that meet European vehicle manufacturer requirements, giving you more options.
Developed additional oil change kits to make it easier to find the right products for your vehicle.
For European vehicles, choosing the right oil is especially important. Many vehicles require specific manufacturer approvals beyond just viscosity. We've kept those requirements front and center as we've expanded our selection and worked to provide more options.

We’ll continue to protect product availability, absorb rising costs where possible, and help you choose from our range of quality oils. We will continue to uphold our commitment: If we wouldn’t put it in our car, we wouldn’t sell it to you.
