Welcome to the Newsletter

I hope you enjoyed the advanced excerpt from Cold Redemption in last month's newsletter. If you missed it, you can click this link to read it.

I'm getting excited for the December release of this book, while at the same time, working on the next Psy-Changeling release! The funny thing about working roughly a year in advance on books is that when I do events, I have to constantly make sure I don't spoil not one but two books!

Talking of events, below I have details of:

- the virtual launch event for Cold Redemption;

- the in-person launch in Auckland, NZ; and

 - info about a very cool new signing event coming to Auckland, NZ next year.

No short story in this newsletter as I am deep into writing a book, but I've already started pondering shorts for the traditional holiday newsletter, so watch this space! I do, however, have two book recs for you this time around.

I hope life is treating you well as we head into the final quarter of 2027.

Reading Corner

I was lucky enough to read ARCS for two upcoming books recently.

The first was Jennifer Estep's Queen of Foxes (November), a Robin Hood-inspired romantasy that took me by surprise.

While it features a complex slow burn enemies-to-lovers romance, the heart of the story is its reluctant, loyal, and courageous heroine, Rinley Renard.

I also really loved the worldbuilding of this world of dryads, magic, and possibly sentient Sherwood trees.

I was also very lucky to receive an advance copy of Perfect in Death (February 2027) by JD Robb.

If you've followed me over the years, you know that I am a devoted fan of JD Robb. And all I can say about this book is that it's as brilliant as all the others, with a truly disturbed villain.

If you haven't checked out this series, I can't recommend it highly enough. Naked in Death is book one, and it will be your gateway into an incredible world!

Next Newsletter

The next newsletter will be hitting your inbox on November 3, so keep an eye out!

Take care and happy reading.
