We’re just one day away from our annual STAT Summit in Boston. I’m always a bit nervous at this point — but I can’t think of an event where the tea leaves were this good.
Just look at who will be on stage. Four top VCs. Merck. Moderna. Biogen. Roivant. Compass Pathways. A major social influencer. The editor of Science. The president of MIT. The former head of the NIH. Three former FDA commissioners. Five patient advocates. The CEO of ICER. A scientist who makes brains in a dish. A congressman. Researchers who really understand vaccine hesitancy. The head of the DOJ’s health care fraud division. And several amazing researchers whose name I couldn’t cram into this paragraph.
You can see the agenda — and I encourage you to check it out — but you’re going to have to take my word for it when I tell you the prep calls we’ve been holding have been amazing, each more fascinating than the last.
You’ll also have to take my word for it on the brisk pace of ticket sales and the makeup of the incredible audience coalescing at this two-day event. I can promise real insights into big issues that matter: Biotech and China. AI in health care. The fight against cancer. New challenges facing academia.
There’s still a little time to get into the room — and shape your perspective on all these issues. I hope to see you there.
