Day 7 of 10 · Which strings Hey Tomasz, Some chords sound muddy even when your fingers are perfect. You're hitting strings the chord doesn't want. G and Em take all six. C starts on the 5th string. D starts on the 4th. There's a simple rule behind it: The root is the note a chord is named after. Aim each downstroke there, and let the ups brush the thin strings.
