| Good afternoon, Chicago. A 14-year-old boy shot on a West Ridge street last week was an innocent bystander who was left paralyzed from the chest down in the shooting, according to prosecutors. Now, the man accused of shooting him, Muhammad Sayadul Boshar, 19, of West Ridge, faces an attempted murder charge, among other felonies. A judge ordered him detained on Monday, the Cook County state’s attorney’s office said. Here’s what else is happening today.
