In ancient Greece, the greatest philosophers asked the big questions, such as: What's the fundamental nature of the universe? What's the difference between good and evil? And most crucially: What makes a person truly sexy? 

Unfortunately, I can't tell you much about the first two, but I do know a thing or two about the last. Aristotle believed in symmetry and proportions, Plato said attractiveness extends beyond looks, and Kant argued that there's no one-size-fits-all formula for beauty.
