Which genres, DAWs, etc. is this for?

Hey a,

Thanks to everyone who joined my new mentorship community, the Prolific Producer Collective, this week, and to everyone who replied with questions.

A few of them came up again and again, so let me answer them here.

Q: Is this community only for techno producers?

No. Our members come from all corners of electronic music: techno, house, ambient, electronica, DnB, trance, psytrance, hi-tech, experimental, even dream pop and indietronica.

That diversity is one of the community's biggest strengths. Feedback from someone outside your genre often points out things you'd never have questioned.

Q: Is this only for Ableton users?

We work with all DAWs. Our members use Ableton Live, FL Studio, Bitwig, Logic, Cubase, Reason, Reaper and more. I myself use multiple DAWs in my professional production, mixing, and mastering work. We focus on first principles that apply in any DAW.

Q: I only have a few hours a week to make music. Is that enough?

Yes. Most of our members have full-time jobs and limited studio time. That's exactly why the Creative Funnel system you'll learn in my course exists: it helps you use the hours you have instead of losing them to tweaking and second-guessing. A few focused hours a week go a long way when you know what to work on next.

Q: Am I at the right experience level for this?

Most of our members are intermediate producers, some are beginners, and some do this professionally. Your skill level matters less than your mindset. We share the belief that we can grow together in a non-competitive way and enjoy making music, with all its ups and downs.

Q: How do I know if this is right for me?

If you're making electronic music but it feels a bit isolated, and you're not progressing as fast as you'd like, this is worth a try. The monthly plans can be cancelled anytime, so there's not much risk in joining and seeing for yourself.

Q: Do you offer discounts on yearly plans?

Yes. With a yearly plan, you save up to 25%.

Q: What's the difference between Standard and Premium?

Standard gives you the Prolific Producer course, the Artist OS workshop, the monthly challenges, the Backstage Pass posts, and the community itself.

Premium includes all of that, plus four weekly group calls: Producer Office Hours with me, and calls on Sound Design & Mixing, Feedback & Analysis, and Release & Promo. All calls are recorded, so you can watch them on your own schedule.

Q: I still have questions. What should I do?

Just reply to this email and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
