Potential jobs cuts at the 60+ year old Millicent tissue mill was among the biggest news impacting the Limestone Coast this week.
While job cuts have yet to be confirmed, the mill's new owner Arbex has described the current process as a "transformation project".
One Nation MP Jason Virgo has come out quickly, calling for government support to secure local jobs and local manufacturing.
In other news, a National Police Remembrance Day event was held at the Mount Gambier Police Station on Tuesday. Police officer Jason Doig, who was killed on duty, was among those remembered.
And the Limestone Coast Prostate Cancer Support Group has raised money to boost services for local men.
Thanks to the Mount Gambier Aviation Museum committee members for sharing the pic of the recently opened museum, which showcases the history of aviation in our region.
