Over the past 20 years, I’ve worked with thousands of guitar players. 

And one of the biggest things I’ve noticed is that a lot of people don’t struggle because they aren’t practicing enough.

They struggle because they’re never completely sure what they should be working on next.

They learn songs.

They watch lessons.

They practice licks, scales and exercises.

But after years—or sometimes decades—of playing, they still find themselves thinking:

“I should be a lot better than I am by now.”

That’s a problem I’ve become increasingly interested in solving.

Because I don’t think most serious guitar players need another random collection of lessons.

They need a clear path.

They need someone who can look at their playing, identify what’s missing, tell them what to work on next, and help them continue moving forward.

So over the past several months, I’ve been building something new.

It’s called Bluegrass Guitar Fluency.

It’s a 12-month coaching and mentorship experience for serious guitarists who want to become more confident, capable bluegrass musicians.

And for the first time, I’m opening applications.

This isn’t simply another online guitar course.

We’re going to work on your playing together.

You’ll follow my Flatpicking Path, regularly show me your playing, receive personal feedback from me, participate in live coaching, and have opportunities to actually get together and make music in person.

The goal is pretty simple:

To help you become the bluegrass guitarist you’ve always wanted to be.
