U.S. Access Board Webinar: Accessible Parking Available in Archives

The U.S. Access Board’s webinar, Accessible Parking: Pushing Beyond Minimum Requirements to Meet Today’s Demand, was last week, but the webinar recording and presentation materials are available in the archives. This webinar covered the minimum design requirements for accessible parking and potential solutions to address the needs of those who require it. The presenters proposed improvements that can be made at a state or local government level, including the need to increase the proportion of accessible spaces relative to all parking. This webinar included video remote interpreting (VRI) and real-time captioning. The webinar series is hosted by the ADA National Network in cooperation with the Board. Other archived copies of previous Board webinars are also available on the site.
