I got your note about the weekend plans and honestly I think we should just keep it simple this time. Maybe a walk near the lake with coffee and no real agenda. I've been meaning to tell you about the small repair I did on the patio chair, nothing urgent. It's just nice to have a few hours where the phone stays in another room. Let me know if Thursday still works for you or if we should shift to Friday. No pressure either way. I was also thinking of baking that lemon cake again because it wasn't too sweet. Oh and I found that old photo from the trip we took years ago. It made me laugh. Anyway, hope the workday goes quickly and the weather stays clear for the evening.
I was going to mention yesterday that the library has a new display of local art near the main stairs, but we ran out of time. Next week looks calmer for me. We could meet early and then walk to the farmers market before it gets crowded. I still have that extra blanket in the trunk from the picnic last month. Also, the neighbor finally fixed their gate so the afternoon noise has gone down quite a bit. It's much quieter now with the window open. I think I'll spend part of Saturday reorganizing the workbench and sweeping the garage. Nothing too involved. If the rain holds off, the garden could use about twenty minutes of attention, mostly pulling weeds around the side bed. Let me know what you decide about Thursday. Either day is fine on my end.
