Hey, I got your note about the team meetup on Thursday. I think the later time actually works better for me since I have a couple of focus blocks in the morning that are tough to move. I can definitely bring the salad and maybe some of those sparkling water cans from the pantry. I saw a bunch left over from the last event and it feels like nobody else is going to grab them. Also, did you end up trying that cold brew place near the library? I meant to stop by last weekend but the line looked like it wrapped around the block. If you go again before we talk, let me know if the maple latte is worth it or if it is too sweet. I keep reading different opinions online. I will check the shared doc later tonight and add my notes to the section about the volunteer slots. It might be easier to just pick a few backup days in case the main one gets rained out, but honestly I have not looked at the weather yet. Let me know if you need me to grab paper plates or napkins before then.

I think we should reschedule that study group for Friday instead of Wednesday. I mentioned it to Julia and she said the room on the second floor is already booked solid, so unless we want to sit in the hallway we should try the smaller one by the west stairwell. I can bring my laptop and share my screen with the notes from chapter six, but someone else would need to bring the printed worksheets because my printer ran out of toner last week. Did you see the email about the guest lecture next month? The topic actually overlaps a lot with the reading I was doing for fun, so I will probably go even if it means getting up early on a Saturday. Also, I found a stack of old maps in the library archive that could be useful for the history project. I left them on the top shelf behind the reference desk, but I will send you a photo of the call numbers if you want to check them out. Just remind me to return that book about regional dialects by next Tuesday.
