I completely forgot about the book you mentioned last week. Was it the one with the blue spine or the older paperback? I found a copy at the little free library near the post office, but someone had already taken the dust jacket off. It still reads fine, just looks a bit tired. I also saw that the corner bakery started putting out day-old pastries on a table near the side entrance. It's not marked, but the staff don't mind if you take one or two.
