I pulled together a few notes on the workflow improvements we were talking about last week, mostly around how we organize shared files. Honestly it is not anything revolutionary, just a better folder structure so we are not digging around for things all the time. I also tried that new online ordering system for lunch yesterday and it was way easier than the old one. It remembered my usual order from two weeks ago which was weird but nice. Sure, I can explain what I meant by that comment on the document yesterday. Basically I think we should rotate who handles the weekly update posts so no one gets stuck with it two weeks in a row. It has been the same couple of people doing it and that seems unfair. I mentioned it in the thread but it got buried under the discussion about formatting. I also think we can skip the update on holiday weeks without anyone missing anything important. There is a simpler way to archive the old notes too instead of leaving them all in the main folder. On a completely different note, I rearranged my desk setup over the weekend and it feels like a whole new workspace. I moved the monitor to the left side and put a small plant near the window. It makes a bigger difference than I expected. The cable situation is still a little messy behind the desk but I will deal with that later. I also found an old notebook from two years ago with some ideas we never followed up on. A few of them are actually still relevant now. I can bring it up in our next planning session if you want.
