December 3. Twelfth year. You know the drill by now - but this one's different in three ways.
There's a keynote. For the first time, the day opens with one anchor session at 8:00 AM PT, and everything else follows it. Seventy-five minutes, five organizations, one stage.
There's a debate, and a judge. We're running a formal Oral Argument on whether AI is ready to do the work while people approve it. Four practitioners argue assigned sides, and U.S. District Judge Xavier Rodriguez questions both from the bench. We poll the room before and after. The side that moves it wins.
And there's an award that didn't exist before.
The Rising Stars of eDiscovery recognizes five practitioners in their first five years who are already doing work the rest of us depend on. Nominated by the community, decided by one judge from each of the five organizations, and named live on stage December 3.
You almost certainly know someone. Nominations close November 6, self-nominations welcome, and it takes about ten minutes.
