With my first summer as Frog Meadow’s owner and steward in the books, I’m especially grateful to the men who made this place come alive, as well as to our staff and volunteers for helping make it such a successful season. It’s been wonderful welcoming so many new faces to Frog Meadow—and witnessing them fall in love with this magical place.

But as the maple leaves begin to turn brilliant shades of orange, red, and gold in our corner of southern Vermont, I’m looking ahead to cooler weather and Frog Meadow’s coziest months. I’m excited to share that Frog Meadow is now open year-round, and I’m extending a special discount to the Himeros.tv family: enjoy a complimentary third night on any stay between November 1 and February 28* with discount code "cozy".
But this sale ends in just 72 hours.
For those of you who know me through Himeros.tv, Frog Meadow may feel like a natural extension of the same intention: a place to step out of the noise, connect more honestly with yourself and other men, and experience the freedom that comes from being fully seen. The medium may be different, but the thread is the same—beauty, vulnerability, pleasure, and meaningful connection.
And there’s so much to love about Frog Meadow in the fall and winter. Here are a few of my favorite ways to enjoy the season:
-
Book a massage with Andrew or Nando. Frog Meadow’s massage therapists are second to none, and they’ve been receiving rave reviews all summer. With 60- and 90-minute options, it’s a wonderful way to savor your stay.
-
Soak in our wood-fired hot tub. Kept at a toasty 102 degrees, it’s the heart and soul of Frog Meadow—and a lovely place to connect with like-minded guests.
-
Enjoy winter activities. Explore the extensive trails on our 25-acre property, borrow our snowshoes, or bring cross-country skis. Downhill skiing at Mount Snow or Stratton is just 30 minutes away.
-
Sample southern Vermont’s culinary delights. From a stop at the local cheese shop to the viral mac and cheese at Vermont Country Deli, there’s no shortage of delicious options within a short drive. We also keep a list of recommended restaurants, including Fat Crow, a Frog Meadow favorite just ten minutes away.
-
Do some sightseeing. Browse the region’s many antique shops, explore nearby villages, or make a day trip to the King Arthur Baking Company campus in Norwich for its bakery, cooking classes, and expansive shop of unusual baking supplies.
