This Week with Chantilly PTSA
Your quick scroll for what’s happening, what’s coming up,
and how to jump in this week.
Hey Chargers crew! Big week, quick scroll: show up in purple for student safety, keep the membership drive momentum going, and swing by Tilly Thursday before the snacks disappear.
This Week’s Vibe
This week’s vibe is safe routes, strong voices, and Charger community energy. A special crossing guard message already went out, so here’s the tiny-but-important reminder: the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors vote is today at 10:30 a.m. If you can attend, wear purple and help show support for permanent high school crossing guard funding. If you cannot attend, a quick email still counts.
Weekly Drop
-
September 15 | Crossing Guard Funding Vote: Board of Supervisors meeting at 10:30 a.m. at the Fairfax County Government Center. Wear purple if attending; if you cannot make it, email clerktotheboard@fairfaxcounty.gov and chairman@fairfaxcounty.gov, and CC sdixit@fcps.edu.
-
Membership Drive: The student class competition is officially in motion, and the race is on! First-place class scores the five-minute early release prize, but don’t tap out after round one—there are two chances to win, and the second-chance prize drops in October. Parents/guardians, community members—we still need you: we’re currently at 21% of our goal for 2026-2027 CHS PTSA memberships.
 Membership Drive Competition Status
-
September 17 | Tilly Thursday: Snacks drop in Front Lobby at 2:55 p.m. Last week sold out, so plan accordingly.
-
September 24 | Taste of Chantilly: Stop by the PTSA/ANGP table for a great snack and a quick way to learn what’s coming up.
