World Languages Credit by Exam
Earn world language credits for demonstrating
language proficiency in a language other than English!
About the FCPS World Languages Credit by Exam (WLCBE):
The exam assesses language proficiency in languages other than English.
Students who take the exam may earn up to three passing world language credits for levels one, two, and/or three for the language of the exam.
The credits may fulfill the world languages requirements for the Advanced Studies Diploma.
The FCPS WLCBE is also an approved assessment for awarding the Virginia Department of Education’s (VDOE) Seal of Biliteracy.
The exam is offered one time per school year for the languages listed on the FCPS World Languages Credit by Exam website (see below).
A student may participate in the exam two times per language, once per year, between grades 7 through 12. In other words, students have two chances per language to earn credits by taking the exam, but may only take the exam one time per year.
Registration:
September 8 through October 16, 2026.
Late registrations will not be accepted.

The WLCBE will be offered at Robinson Secondary School between November 9-20, 2026.

Jazz Band Auditions
The Robinson Jazz Band is a great way for experienced musicians to connect with jazz, latin, rock, and pop styles of music.
Jazz Band Auditions will take place during all RAISE periods between October 5 and October 16. Auditions are open to all students enrolled in band as a class AND non-band students who play PIANO, GUITAR, UPRIGHT BASS, or BASS GUITAR. Afterschool audition times can be scheduled as needed.
Audition music will be available in the band room beginning September 14th. Please visit the MS band room to sign up for an audition time and pick up audition materials (Room 402).
